Interview by Edo Q. for MaleModels and
Actors-CoverMen © 2008
-Hello
Stefan, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for my
online magazine, I know You're
a model and actor, how did you get started in
both of them?
A photographer friend who was
still in school asked me to model for one of his photography
classes, taught by a very prestigious photographer.
I was quite nervous and never imagined that I would
later pose for this very same photographer for one of
his own projects. It wasn’t until a year later
that I was buying lunch at a supermarket, when
a model scout approached me. Acting came much, much
later, and it was by serendipity as my agent suggested
I take some scene study classes.
-You
have an amazing look, do you think that may help
to succeed?
My “look” may help me stand-out,
and that could be beneficial, but I don’t think
that my success is necessarily based solely on my look.
I really believe that true success comes only
after hard work determination and a strong conviction
that one can achieve their goals.
-What
do you consider your ultimate goal in your career?
An
ultimate goal? I’m not sure, I do have many smaller
goals that I set up for myself. These keep me grounded
and focused. I would like to help people discover that
losing weight and becoming fit isn’t as difficult or
elusive as it seems. I was once considerably heavier
and had never stepped into a gym. I never imagined that
I would be asked to model.
-How would
you describe yourself in few words? What are some characteristics
of your personality?
Ha ha. Well, I enjoy
observing people and their actions, especially when
they lose themselves in laughter. I care for my friends
and family a great deal and am most happy when
we can laugh around the dinner table. I am a voracious
reader, and also enjoy outdoor adventures, far-away
trips and casual, but beautiful photography.
-Do
you like to travel? What is the most interesting
place you have ever visited?
I love traveling.
I only just came back from Italy (my first time!). So
far, the most interesting place -- hands down -- that
I have had the opportunity to visit was Tallinn,
Estonia.
-When you were a child, what
was your dream for the future? Has it changed?
Ha
ha. Most definitely! I wanted to be an airplane pilot!
I had many dreams for myself. Another one was to be
a business man, just like my dad. Maybe that one has
come true, sort of?
-What qualities do
you appreciate in your friends? What makes someone special
or best friend?
Loyalty, without a doubt.
-Thanks
again Stefan, I wish you the best luck in anything you
will do!
