-Hello
Marlon, I'm flattered you accepted to be interviewed
by CoverMen Mag!, to start this interview off,
please give me some background information.
Hi
Edo, it's a pleasure to be interviewed by CoverMen Mag!
Thank you very much for the invitation to share a little of my life with you and the readers.
I
was born on February 11th 1986 in a city called Caxias do Sul,
in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, south of Brazil:

Its a very
beautiful place, with a strong gaucho culture,
that passes through generations. My parents were divorced
when I was a baby, so my mother raised me with
all her efforts and love, and she is the best family
I could ever had. I finished my high school graduation,
and I live now in São Paulo City - Brazil
-How
did you start your career as a model? Who convinced
you to become a model?
I was discovered by
a scout in 2007 and was invited to start modeling
for an agency in Porto Alegre City, the capital of Rio
Grande do Sul. I was working in a pharmacy at
that time.
-Do you remember your first
photo shoot? Who was the photographer and did
you feel comfortable in front of his camera?
Oh
yes, it was in Caxias do Sul, by a local photographer,
and I felt really comfortable. It was a very nice
experience, from that I decided to carry on as a model,
I felt very natural.
-What did you buy
with the money earned from your first modeling job?
Clothes.
-What
kind of assignments, as a model, do you prefer? (photo
shoots for editorials and ads, fashion shows,
TV commercials...)
I like all them, but
among those I believe I do Photo Shots for Editorials
better.
-Tell me about your main
modeling experiences so far and your hopes for the
future.
I have only 2 years of career,
and I just moved to a nice agency here in Brazil called
L'equipe, www.lequipeagence.com.br
my
main modeling experience was to win Mister 2008, and
I am invited to compete again Mister Brazil 2010, Men's
Health Cover Page and the international experience of
modeling in Hamburg and Milan last year.
-Tell
me something about yourself, how would you describe
yourself in few words? Which adjectives would you use?
Focused,
patient, watcher, disciplined, very honest, with humor and
straightforward.
-How
do you like to spend your spare time and what is the
meaning of fun and having a good time for you?
Having
special couple dinner at home, dance and travel with
my girlfriend.
Good time is be able to be with the people I love and
care.
-How do you do to stay in shape?
Do you work out, diet or you don't need any of that?
I
do work out everyday during the week, and weekends I
try to run on the soft sand of the beautiful beach of
Maresias - North Shore of São Paulo. I
don't do diet, but I ONLY eat very healthy.
