Interview by Edo Q © 2008 CoverMen Mag!
August, 2008

-Welcome back Lee to CoverMen Mag!, it's great to interview you again, please update me on your recent modeling assignments, you worked alot during the first half of year, didn't you?Lee K

Hmmmmm, well lately I've been working a lot actually. I’ve shot a couple of editorials, did a campaign, some runways, and some catalog jobs for clients such as Target. I was also featured on MTV which can be seen on Youtube.com if you just search my name.

-Surely you are a very successful model, besides your great look, what do you think has contributed the most to your success?

Well I think that looks are 90 percent and the other 10 percent definitely is your personality. I'm really down to earth and laid back. I try to keep a positive energy to me and I think that helps me out when meeting clients.

-I read in your cool official website, www.LeeKholafai.blogspot.com, that you'll be in Greece during September and in Italy during October and November, can you tell me the reasons for these journeys? I am sure you won't be only a tourist, by the way is it the first time you will visit Italy?

Oh yea, and I'm so looking forward to it. I'm traveling for modeling to meet all the great clients and photographers that Europe has to offer.

Lee K

-Though you're still very young, you've already worked with alot of great photographers, what did you learn from those great artists? Were you comfortable in front of the camera with them? Lee K

Yea I'm very fortunate to have been able to work with such talented photographers. I am always in my comfort zone when I'm in a shoot and I definitely learn something new from every photographer I work with.

-What kind of assignments, as a model, do you prefer? TV commercials, runways, photo editorials...?

Hmmm, I like them all actually. I would say I like tv commercials the most though just because your able to really show your personality.

-Are you on vacation Lee or are you working? In which part of the world?

I'm always working and trying to stay busy to be as productive as possible. I'm currently in LA and I love it here. NYC is fun as well but when it gets cold there I'd rather be in LA because I'm definitely an outdoors person.

Lee K

-You are in perfect shape Lee, what sports do you practice? How many times a week do you go to the gym?
Lee K
Well I grew up playing football but always participated in all sports. I try to go the gym 5 days a week and do all natural exercises while I'm there like push-ups and so on. I get my cardio by either running or cyclying to the gym because a treadmill is kind of boring to me. lol.

-How do you spend your free time if you have any?

Well with my free time now I'm learning how to surf. I pretty much just like spending my free time with family and friends.

-If you weren't modeling, what do you think you'd be doing now? What did you wish to be when you were growing up?

If I wasn’t modeling now id probably still be in Alabama running my shop. Growing up I always wanted to be in the NFL. I never thought I would actually be a model but hey its fun so I'm not complaining. lol

-Thanks alot Lee for taking your time to reply to my questions, I hope to have the chance to interview you again by the end of this year!

Thank you as well and it was great to hear from you again. Be sure to check out my blog for all my updates. www.LeeKholafai.blogspot.com.
