-Hello
Eric, I'm flattered you accepted to be interviewed
for my online magazine, to start this interview off,
please give some background information.
My
hometown is Seattle Washington. I have an older brother
Anton and younger step brother Nate. I graduated from
Western Washington University with a degree in community
health and health education and am currently living
in Los Angeles.
-Let's
look back at how you started modeling, tell me about
how you got discovered.
My first modeling
job came from working at Abercrombie and Fitch. My managers
at the store thought it would be a good idea if I sent
some pictures of me into their home office to try to
get into the catalog. As shocked as I was, 6 months
later I was shooting for Abercrombie in the Florida
Keys. So when I got back to Washington I figured that
I should probubly go find a modeling agency.
-What
aspects of the modeling career attract you most?
I
like how you get to do something different every time
you work. You get to go to cool places and meet all
sorts of interesting people. It also allows me to have
some free time to persue other things in my life such
as playin music in a band.

-What
do your family and friends think of your choice
to pursue a modeling career?
They think that
it is super cool and awsome! Well, and that I am very
fortunate to be able to be in this market and that I should
keep it up as long as I can.
-What
was your first assignment as a model? How did you feel
during it? My first job was for Abercrombie
and Fitch. When I did the job I was still in shock that
I would ever be able to be a model. I didn't really
know what to expect or what I was supposed to do so
it was definately a learning experience but it was
a lot of fun. Basically, I was freakin stoked!
-What
are some of your professional goals as a model? What
kind of campaigns would you like to do?
Goals?
Hmmmm... I don't really have any goals in modeling other
than just getting more work and being able to live off
that income. Of course I would like to do some big campaigns
and runway shows but it really just depends on what
my agent David sends my way.
What
are some characteristics of your personality? Which
adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
I'd
say RAD pretty much sums it up! If you didn't know RAD
is an acronym for Random Acts of Dancing! So I'd say
that I am a very active person and I like to be spontaneous.
I think the more things you go out and do, the less
you miss out on. I'd like to say I'm a very fun and
exciting person but I suppose that is for others to
decide.
-Do you have
a personal motto that sums up your thoughts about life
in a sentence?
Go for it!!!
-How do you stay fit Eric? What
sport do you practice? Basically I
try to do a little of everything. Skiing, snowboarding,
mountain biking, skydiving, basketball, rock climbing.
Most of all thought I try to do a lot of acrobatic things
like random sorts of flips and stuff which will hopefully
lead to stunt acting someday.
-Thanks again for taking
the time to reply to my questions, good luck for your
future challenges!
