-Hello Dave, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for CoverMen Mag! I know you describe yourself as model, actor and promoter, how did you get started in all of these?

That’s a long story, but to make it short, I came here to study at the State University of Northridge and to get involved in the movie biz. After I experienced all the opportunities I can get, I was kind of blown away. The first week I was in town I went to Venice Beach where a guy approached me and asked me if I were interested in modeling. I said "YES I’M!". So after I signed with that agency I got quite a few jobs in modeling and acting. That was my start in the USA.

But there was a time before LA where I went to acting school after my regular day job in Austria. Which was hard and very time consuming. I also had to stay in shape and train 4 times a week. Seven month later I obtained a few TV commercials and a few magazine jobs, but I never had the chance to be an actor at an action or horror movie. Austria is not really the city to become an actor therefore one day I made my biggest decision and packed all my stuff to go to LA. I sold everything I had and took all my savings to pay for the University, which was a lot if you are a foreigner!

To support my life I worked as a cleaner lol don’t ask me more about it lol… Then I finally got a real job where I worked for "Rentwave" which is a rental company in Santa Monica. After one year I got involved in the night life biz where I got the chance to promote at a club in Beverly Hills. I made a lot of great connections and build up my database of celebrities and models. After Club Joya got shut down I went Hollywood and through the best and craziest parties. Now I’m known as Chris & Dave Vip events and happy to be my own boss which gives me also time to go to castings during the day.

-Can you tell me something about www.myclublife.com, what is the main goal of that website?

It used to be a nigh life community site where people can find the best events in town and to meet crazy party people. But, unfortunately it didn’t work out with one of my biz partners and we took it off for now.

-You appeared in several magazines and TV shows and worked with many photographers but what do you consider your best achievement so far?

My best achievement so far was to be one of the main actors at the movie THE DEAD AND DAMED which is supposed to come out this summer on SCIFI. It’s a crazy horror movie with a lot of great special effects.

I know you are going to pursue a career as an actor too, is there a particular role you would like to play? Which actors and directors would you like to work with?

I love horror and action movies and I would love to work with Steven King and many more...

-Share with me your plans and goals for the future.

Since acting doesn’t pay the bills yet I’m working on weekly and huge special events in LA and Vegas. Also I’m working on being a cover model for fitness magazines. In fact I have my cover shoot in two weeks for "EXERCISE FOR MEN ONLY MAGAZINE". So keep the finger crossed and hopefully you can see me on the cover soon!

-How would you describe yourself in few words?

I would describe myself as a very ambitious, down to earth, honest guy who never stops pursuing his goals.

-I am sure you are asked all the time, but what's your secret to be in good shape?

Well there are a lot of things you have to do and one of them is diet, diet, diet which means I’m eating right for my blood type which includes chicken, steak, fish, rice and potato. Before a shoot I’m cutting my carbs down to 100g a day.  I go running every morning if I have to prepare for a shoot otherwise I just do 3 times a week. You have to do cardio on an empty stomach in order to burn sufficient fat. There is NO secret besides hard work.

-Thanks again Dave for this interview, good luck for your career!
