Mag! March, 2009
-Hello Crosby, I'm really flattered you accepted to be interviewed for
CoverMen Mag!, to start this interview off, please give me some background
information: hometown, family, education, where you live now.
Hometown:
Roseville, CA which is near Sacramento. Went to Sacramento
State University and was a QB for the college football
team. Parents: Karen and Steve Wehr and brother Coree.
Now I live in Los Angeles but travel to SF and NYC.
-How did you get into modeling? How did you get your first modeling
job?
I got into modeling from reference from a friend. After I graduated
I saw an old friend at the gym and he recommended me
to his agent at Ford SF. He signed me the next week
and on the day I signed I went to my first casting for
a Gap runway show and booked it! Was off to Dallas,
TX the next week for the show!
-How old were you when you started modeling, and how old are you
now?
I only started modeling a little over a year ago in late January
so I still consider myself a new face to the industry.
I was 23 and still am 23 as I turn 24 on April
18th.
-What are some of your professional goals as a model? What kind of
campaigns would you like to do?
My dream campaign has always been
to book a fragrance campaign for an Armani or CK line.
Of course, I would take any fragrance campaign though!
My personal goals for modeling are to be successful
enough to live comfortably and to see the world. I really
want to work in Europe soon.
-What is your personal definition of style and being fashionable?
My
personal definition of style or being fashionable is
to be yourself and rock it with confidence. If you have
a unique style and a confident swagger to follow it-thats
fashion.
-You are in perfect shape, what sports do you practice? How many times a
week do you go to the gym?
As I said before I played college football
and I still work out at the gym now with the same kind
of regiment. I have a background in football, basketball,
soccer and track so as an athlete at heart I still have
the same intensity in my workouts and feel that its
the best way to keep my body in top shape. I also practice
yoga and meditate often to rest my mind. The body is
a science and with the discipline to lead a good lifestyle
involving a healthy diet, consistent workouts, and overall
mind and body support, anyone can achieve their optimal
physique.
-Thanks Crosby for taking the time to reply to my questions, good luck
with your career!!
Thanks Edo.
